Our 2016 Women's History Month presentation is Generations of Women Get Their Wings.


Dawn Hokaj (USAF Captain, currently serving in the Reserves) who is a veteran of the US Air Force and a former F-16 pilot. She now works part-time as a contractor for NASA, where she is a mission planner/navigator for two of their research aircraft. She will be talking about her path to becoming a pilot, as well as her steps to her present job as a contractor with NASA. She will discuss the advantages and challenges of being a woman in the Air Force, as well as how the future looks for women in the services and at NASA.

Vivian Wood (U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant during World War II) will be making a presentation on pioneer women in aviation (military and non-military).

Our 2016 Women's History Month presentation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016, from 2pm to 4pm
